The problem
Deploying an unfamiliar repository is repetitive, environment-specific work. The same repository can need different steps for a laptop, a container and a cloud target.
The task is a good fit for an agent: inspect the repository, choose the steps, run them, and report what happened.
The platform had to support three targets without pretending that one deployment recipe fits all of them.
Approach
- Built a platform that accepts a repository and a target environment.
- Implemented agentic deployment to a local environment, Docker, or Azure.
- Focused on the decision path and the deployment steps rather than a single hard-coded script.
- Delivered it as an internship project within a team.
What I did not claim
The boundary of a project is part of its evidence. These are the claims this work does not support.
- Not deployed to production and not used by external customers.
- No scale numbers: repository count, users and uptime are not claimed.
- Team project, not sole ownership of the surrounding product.
- No claim that the platform handles every repository or every cloud target.
Results
- A working agentic platform with three deployment targets: local, Docker and Azure.
- Hands-on experience with the tool-use and decision-loop side of agentic systems.
- The project became the practical base for later agent-platform work on DGX Spark.
- It is presented as an internship project, with its limits stated.

What this means for you
The useful part of this project is not the artifact. It is the method: define the measurement first, keep the scope honest, and hand over something your team can run. That method is what transfers to a new problem.
